Officer arrested on suspicion of DUI in Garfield County

GARFIELD COUNTY — An officer working for the State Bureau of Investigations was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Garfield County last week.

Jason Whitehead, 35, was arrested April 24 on U.S. 89 in Garfield County, according to police records. He was booked into the Garfield County Jail.

Whitehead was arrested on suspicion of carrying a dangerous weapon while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, having an open container in a vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to police records.
